A newly-married Carrie Underwood took to the stage on Tuesday night at the Opry in Nashville. The singer recently returned from her honeymoon in Bora Bora, followed by a few days in Napa Valley, California, with her new hubby Mike Fisher. Underwood told the Opry audience, "It's the first time I've sung anything since I became a married lady! It's so weird saying 'my husband' . . . [it's been] a wonderful month."

Underwood told the Opry audience, "It's the first time I've sung anything since I became a married lady! It's so weird saying 'my husband' . . . [it's been] a wonderful month."

Underwood echoed these sentiments on her fansite, where she blogged, "I'm a married lady now! Married life is pretty much like dating life. My husband is back in Canada . . . story of my life!"

Underwood and Fisher were married in Greensboro, Georgia, on July 10 in a lavish ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation.

"The ceremony was really nice, the pastor did a great job, the reception was a lot of fun," Fisher told the Ottawa Sun. "Just to have everyone close to us around was a big deal. A wedding's not nearly as much fun without those close family and friends with you."

Jimmy Wayne will be holding a free concert on July 31 to celebrate the end of his 1,800 mile Meet Me Halfway charity walk. The singer began the walk in Nashville on January 1 and after walking 1,700 miles to raise awareness for homelessness, is now less than 100 miles away from Phoenix. Once he arrives in Mesa, Arizona, he and his band will take over Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill to perform a free and open public concert.

Wayne, who was homeless during his teen years, says of the journey across six states: "This has been one of the most challenging, and at the same time rewarding experiences of my life. I know that might sound strange, but it's true."

He adds: "This journey has made me think back on the childhood I had-there were many nights I didn't know where I would sleep, and had no idea if I'd have any food."

James Otto's forthcoming third album, Shake What God Gave Ya, is slated to drop on September 14. The album, which was recorded in Nashville and co-produced by Lady Antebellum and Dixie Chicks producer Paul Worley, will include a dozen new tracks. 11 of the songs were written by Otto himself. Otto says of his album: "This sexy, sultry, soulful sound makes you wanna move and dance. And that is exactly what I want fans to do while listening to this album . . ."

Sugarland have confirmed that actor Ryan McPartlin, best known for his role as Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb on NBC's Chuck, will appear in their new video for "Stuck Like Glue." The track is the first single of the band's upcoming release, The Incredible Machine, and hit radio on July 23. "When you see his character that he plays on Chuck, you know, he is Captain Awesome. He's the perfect guy," Jennifer Nettles tells EW.

"When you see his character that he plays on Chuck, you know, he is Captain Awesome. He's the perfect guy. He's the perfect boyfriend, he's the perfect athlete. We thought that would be a funny twist. He fits the profile. Very handsome. And he's a good actor as well, and also a nice guy," Jennifer Nettles tells Entertainment Weekly.

The singer continues on to add that while McPartlin is a perfect fit for the video, the band's connection with the actor was completely happenstance.

"But it wasn't a strategic thing, like, 'Okay, we're gonna pick Awesome so that we can then be on the show.' It wasn't any scratch-my-back-I'll-scratch-yours kind of showbiz thing. It was just funny. And yes, of course, we would love to be on the show. [Sugarland singer Kristian Bush] is a huge fan. I haven't seen it since the first season. Now I feel energized to go check out what's going on," she adds.

The Incredible Machine is due out October 19.
