Rising country star Parker McCollum is preparing to release a new EP.

Out October 16, Hollywood Gold features six-tracks, including Top 15 single, “Pretty Heart” as well as fan-favorites such as “Young Man’s Blues” and “Like A Cowboy.” The Texas native co-wrote five of the EP’s six songs.

“To say I’m excited for my fans to listen to this new project, Hollywood Gold, is an understatement,” shares Parker. “I’m always striving to become a better songwriter and I feel like my songwriting on this EP is some of my best to date.”

The newcomer recently shared the story behind the EP’s title in a video posted to Facebook, explaining that Hollywood Gold is the name of a horse his grandfather owned several years ago. Click above to watch.
